2.2 removes Philo = change to relic quest?

Just curious, has anyone heard anything about changes to the original relic quest line with the 2.2 patch?

I've not got my relic yet (not much of a combatant so in no rush) but I am up to Titan HM and after that the next step was to hand in 900 Philo tomes (which I'd already set aside, though will probably convert them to Myth if Philo is no longer needed).

If Philo is being removed from the game with no further ways of obtaining it, how will new/slow players get their first relic, let alone Zenith and Zodiac..?

well all the old items like potash and stuff got moved to grand companies for seals. so maybe they will be sold there too?
