One-time password activation expires too fast

Hello, it may happen the email with the activation code comes later than one hour to the mailbox. My provider uses greylisting antispam, and the email sent at 11:41 from your system, got to my maibox at 12:42. Just one minute later. How unlucky.

Then, I cannot keep my face in front of the PC 24/7, and I saw the email at about 13:00, just looking every now and then, at the email that never comes.

Then, I discover I cannot request another email until 24 hours passes.

Please makes expiry time a little longer, or resend time more shorter.

may want to white-list the email address with their spam filter so it comes through faster. Check with your ISP on the process... with some it's as simple as forwarding the email or email address to a specific email address, adding it to your contacts list at their web portal, or they may have a more versatile system that lets you create custom lists through an online interface.

They have not a spam filter, they are using greylisting, that it is a completely different thing. All legitimate mail systems are able to pass-through, even the validation one from SE, so there is nothing to fix. The only thing is that the first email from anyone, will take some time before reach inbox, because greylisting process.

After initial validation, any subsequent emails from same "from" address and same IP, will pass through immediately without delay. It means, when today I will try again to validate my one time password, the validation email come to me as soon as it is sent, provided SE uses the same mail merver, or else I get delays again, because IP of sender has changed.

I don't think making the validation email expire just after 2 hours instead of one, breaks any security.
