Thankfully the DPS in my static know what they are doing.

Please enlighten me how did you look into my logic and derived/concluded as what you had stated above. Or could you quote any of my sentence that remotely pointing out your above claims.
It is bad enough that you do not read, but when you do, you do it wrongly.
It is above amusing to see people in the party asking healer to DPS the first thing when they fail DPS check instead of telling the DPS to buck the F up. Seriously, i chose healer to heal and heal i gave, you chose DPS to DPS but u did not do it correctly. So it is now my (healer) fault that we did not down the boss? Nice theory there my friend.
I absolutely do not tolerate DPS expecting a carry from the team because now they know people are supporting healer to DPS, so they can slack their way through things instead of thinking of a way to maximize their DPS. I have seen BLM doing lower DPS in an AOE fight compare to an equally geared BRD and when they fail to do it(DPS) fast enough, they ask the WHM to holy. HOLY SHIT! why don't they ask the BLM to hit it or hit the road?
Disclaimer: I played all classes, so you know i don't side with any. If a healer is slacking, i would bulldoze their ass as well.
Sometimes bad things happen. I rather not wipe to enrage on Leviathan at 1% when I could of been that difference, and I have been in this situation in more than a couple occasions. I don't play with a bunch of perfect robots that are incapable of making the odd mistake.Still, my point stands firm, in Leviathan, if you need a healer to 'help' a DPS to clear a DPS check because apparently some DPS fell into the water or did low DPS and got it enraged, that DPS need to improve. Cause nothing in this game spells 'HEALER NEED TO DPS TO WIN'.
When i am healing, i don't go calling a SMN or BLM bad for not assisting me in healing the tank when the tank died. Same theory, a DPS should not be calling anybody but him/her self bad for not clearing the DPS check.
And yes, a good summoner or black mage will throw a heal or two if the situation calls for it. When I'm tanking and I see that a healer has died and the other is struggling to keep people up, I'll start casting stoneskin on anyone who is low on health or on myself. I don't have to do it, but I'll still do what I can if it means preventing a wipe.
White mage has some of the strongest AoE in the game. Not only that but Holy also stuns, which can add a few seconds of not needing to heal. I find it annoying when they're just standing there doing nothing when they could be making things go a lot faster. For example on Garuda, killing the feathers faster means more DPS time on the boss.It is above amusing to see people in the party asking healer to DPS the first thing when they fail DPS check instead of telling the DPS to buck the F up. Seriously, i chose healer to heal and heal i gave, you chose DPS to DPS but u did not do it correctly. So it is now my (healer) fault that we did not down the boss? Nice theory there my friend.

My question to you is, if you don't cast stone skin or attempt to heal yourself when healer went down and resulting in a wipe, healers calling you out and label you as BAD. Is that ok?
Yeah, anyone refusing to use half their skill set, especially when you're working with a group is a bad player.
So from now on, tank have to SS + heal. WHM and SCH have to DPS. SMN have to raise and tank. BLM have to heal. Or they are BAD. Got it. So where do i sign up for "whatever/ anything will do" slot in PF/DF?
As a WAR, I make sure to keep Storm's Path up and pop abilities like ToB, Mantra to make things go smoother at crucial moments.
I shouldn't have to do any of this since it's the healers job to worry about incoming damage right?
As the OT in our group, you don't see me going afk when there's nothing to tank either.
It's about being adaptive to situations. A good player will be able to easily adapt to a less than perfect situation using the tool set they have to try and prevent a wipe. Tanks not getting the heals they need? Better start stoneskinning. Healer died and other healer is struggling to keep the party up? SMN better res the other healer, or BLM better start helping out with Physick on DPS. Both tanks died? Swiftcast Titan+Rouse+Spur+Enkindle to keep the boss busy for a bit while the healers get the tanks back up. I've actually used Titan to prevent a few wipes, was fun. (Specifically in CT, Behemoth)

I will toss down DPS when I can as a heal. I will use a Holy or 3 during Bug phases in T4, toss an Aero on enemies if the tank I'm healing isn't in danger in T1/2 or Levi EX, and in dungeons I'm often DPSing as long as the tank isn't in trouble.
There's a time and place for Healers DPSing; as long as there isn't a ton of damage being applied to the party, you might as well toss at least an Aero down on things for a little extra damage.
I'd much rather have heals DPSing when there isn't much healing going on rather than them just sitting around doing nothing.
