Crafted armors continue to have paltry parry ratings in general, the i90 heavy wolfram set having around half the total parry score (47 parry) compared to Crystal Tower's 'Light' i80 tank set (89 parry). This is still an increase over Heavy Darksteel's 20ish parry.

we may be in for an era where iLvl is not what is important for a tank, but parry stacking because a lot of individual pieces contain junk stats that don't actually make us tank more efficiently despite having a higher iLvl.

The highest ilvl gear gives the most HP which many people believe is the most important stat in tanking.

Pretty much this. The parry rating only gives your RNG based chances of mitigating damage. Hell some attacks can't be parried appearently.

Yup and for example Blocking is currently totally useless for Ultima HM(so i assume same goes with parry), ofc parry and block are generally ideal secondary stats for tanks but in some encounters those just dont do anything if SE so chooses.

How were these stats discovered? When I check the web-based items database and mobile app, they have yet to be updated. Thanks for the info.

Daystar looks to be more for SCH, but high Allagan: pants, choker, and braclet both have CRIT and SPELL SPEED a SCH can use.
