How is this server

Thinking bout switching to this server, so I'm interested in knowing how the server is, especially how is the community ? and prime time since I'm from Europe.
I just now finished The Praetorium and with it the main story and even though i'm interested in advancing more with endgame i'm more interested in socializing and building friendships.

Hi Ryuki! Thank you for your interest in Brynhildr. We're a pretty chill crowd overall, and my personal experience has been mostly positive with just about everyone I've encountered. I haven't met anyone I absolutely hated yet at least. Prime time ranges, it's an NA based crowd for sure that I've seen but I also know personally FCs (the one I'm a member of included) are inclusive of other peoples from different regions. Look around the boards there's a few of us that post advertising our FCs (mines somewhere here..), and I think you'll get an overall feel.

Brynhildr is a a "new" server, so, compared to some other servers is a bit small. But in my opininion, that makes the comunity closer together, so we easily can find good friends to play with. Of course, as any MMO in the world, we do have some obnoxious people, but they are kinda rare to find. I play in Brynhildr since october last year and I'm having a blast!
If you decide to join us, feel free too look for me, or any of my FC members to help you out! ^^

I'm thinking of transferring over to this server, being from Hyperion I find a lot of elitism in groups, no one has any patience and just wants to rush through a dungeon. How much of this do you notice on the server and over all in the Duty Finder.

Duty Finder gathers people from all servers to form a group, I rarely team up with Brynhild people when I use it. But ever since I started playing FF, 95% of the players were very nice and patient with me. I tend to play the game like we used to play games in the 90´s: No guides, try, fail, learn and reach your goal. People seem to don't mind me being like that, even tho I noticed a lot of ragequitters, FFXIV wise, not only on Brynhildr.

About the RP, what do you suggest, Siwy? I see a lot of people talking about RPing on MMOs, but I never really got to see it.

This server is kinda like a small town, very laid back and friendly, but still has people who can kick buns with the best of them. I cannot think of a single person in our community whom I truly dislike and I'm very pleased I joined this server. If you do end up joining I'm always happy to make new friends, just look for The Cook

As Demi said, unfortunately via Duty Finder, you're often matched up with people outside of your own server. Albeit, it's all the more entertaining when you have a good group and then DO find someone from Brynhildr. That being said, we have our FCs too that are very high-level, high-end game focused, and then there are many (such as mine, and apparently Demi's?) that are more laid back with a great spattering of high-level and helpful players. You get a nice assortment here, I think.

As for an RP session, don't know unfortunately how often if at all that happens on Brynhildr. I'm sure some groups do exist but I personally do not know of any. Sure people would be up to starting one though.

I'd be down for starting an RP Linkshell. Been wanting to do that for a while now.
