    Yeah this only got me past the verify check. Now the client is froze and wont do anything at all.

    Have you tried restarting your PC? I just restarted and the client has started downloading the game however at 0.09MB and says it will take 2000 Minutes lol.

    Worked in an instant! Thank you Jordan! I hope the moderator doesn't delete your post (since they delete anything that includes changing program files). For anyone with this problem, it literally took 3 minutes to do this and start the new download.

    What rates of speed are you downloading at Ashlin? Yesterday i download at 1.90MB ps but now its 0.09MB haha, this is painful.

    This thread shouldn't get deleted, you are not modifying game files, just your config file to flag for a Launcher update check. I downloaded at 3.5mbs and got it in a few mins.

    I'm afflicted by this stupid error again. The fix the OP suggested doesn't work for me and since the patch I've already uninstalled and reinstalled twice. I'm not doing anything different to my computer. I'm turning it off when I go to work. Nothing is changing but for some reason every time I restart the launcher I get this error. I'm at a loss for why SE can't simple just write a fix it program into the launcher that just checks to make sure all your files are good and fixes anything that needs it. Hell I remember EQ doing that years upon years ago, it can't be something earth shattering.

    This fix is for your launcher - If you can start the launcher fine but get the error when you attempt to log in, this solution may help. It is only to update your launcher itself to the February version. What version is your launcher showing?
