World-Transfer Service; EU account to NA account?

I haven't use this feature for this but I moved to the states couple months ago and I decided to play this on my ps3 that I got from a friend here. However, when I try to register my account to my PSN here, it says to make sure the "account your registering is the same as your region" or something like that. I do have a EU SE account; but bought a NA PS3 version here (since I moved). I heard the World Transfer service can switch you to a different world; does that mean I can switch to a different region with this?

It'd be best to ask through Customer Support directly. You can transfer Worlds/Servers, which NA/EU have their centers in Canada, but as far as actually turning an EU account into an NA one it's probably not that simple...

What world you're on has nothing to do with what region your account is for. Any player with any account can make a character on any world. World transfers only transfer characters from world to world.

World transfers are an in-game server change.

Just as an fyi... I moved to NA from EU between 1.0 and ARR (I only own PC version). I asked customer services if I could change my account region to keep legacy stuff etc etc. Bottom line, I was told I cannot change the region of my account... I was also told this means if / when there are expansions I need to buy and register EU codes to my account (even though I am in NA) as NA versions would not be compatible with my account.

As you have bought a NA copy, you would not be able to register it to your EU account. My advice is to create a NA account to save yourself the headache. If you have already been playing and have a lot of time invested in your EU account, talk to the SE customer services and see what they say (I would also be interested in what they tell you)... but I doubt they will be able to do much given my own circumstances.
I hope this was helpful to you!

What Aziraphael says, SE are paranoid about account selling and Hell will freeze over before they allows accounts to be moved from one region to another.
