Why would a Hard Mode primal drop an i95 weapon when the current extremes drop i90? That would mean that leviathan hard mode, a story mission, would be as hard as t5 or at the very least be harder than the current extremes. I doubt levi hm is as hard as t5 or current extremes. It makes more sense for levi ex to drop i95, giving you alternative to t5 weap, and then require some item or collection of items to upgrade it to 100.

Not to mention that all of a sudden youd be giving newer players going through story an i95 weapon b4 they even touch an extreme or 1st tier of coil. Just makes no sense.

The i100 / i110 weapons are Gerolt's masterworks.

Since all of his items have the Weathered i100 / final i110 format. I'm also assuming the Atma/Animus are simply different paths for relics. i.e. one for crit and the other for speed.

The weathered to regular is probably some other thing like the EX weapons.

Every role has also armor called Weathered at i100 and its non-weathered equivalent at i110. And its not from Coil. Coil is all called High Allagan (weapons i115, armor i110).

This makes more sense considering 2.2 is about upgrading items by using stuffs.

It makes no sense for extreme primals to be harder than hard modes but have a hard mode give out a weapon higher than the extremes and the same tier as a t5.

I doubt Yoshi and the dev team would make t5 the equivalent of leviathan hard mode on the first patch they introduce a new tier of coil>_>. If they did that then what would be the point of waiting to give echo buff in coil? You''d already be giving every one(since its a story mission and doesn't require you completing a relic reborn) a free near-instant dmg buff to coil and extremes with i95 weapons from an easier battle.

Yoshi said levi ex can be completed in i90, so giving you an easier i95 b4 hand from something that is 20 ilvl below is like....huh? why? what sense does that make?

If it actually turned out like that I'd be extremely disappointed. from titan hm = 80 to levi hm = i95 while 3 extremes give i90 and 1 give i100 off the bat. Oh and you have to beat ifrit b4 u can try levi ex. So they gonna give you an i95 for that from story b4 u can get i90 from defeating the 3 previous extremes....something aint right there. lol

There's 4 weapons as, [Relic] Atma (100) and [Relic] Animus (100), Weathered [Weapon] (100), and normal named [Weapon] (110).

I'll use the Relic lance Gae Bolg for my theory on these.

So my theory is that we somehow obtain "Gae Bolg Atma", I'm thinking perhaps this is a quest to up our Zenith Weapon (My guess - the new quest "Up in Arms"). From there, it looks like there is a Zodiac Atma item obtained by defeating a certain creature ("Atma of the Goat" flavor text - "The crystallized soul of a formiddable foe felled in the East Shroud.") - my guess would be this is the new quest "Trial of the Braves". I'd then think we'd turn in the Zodiac Atma with the Gae Bolg Atma to obtain Gae Bolg Animus.

There are also new items listed as 'Parts' that correlate to each weapon. In this theory case there is the "Mossy Stone Spear" (flavor text - A spear crafted from Giantsgall, a type of stone found on Thavnair. It is so covered in moss as to be rendered unusable). My guess is this is turned over, as well as the Gae Bolg Animus, to create "Weathered Liberator". Then possibly after certain conditions are met (I'm thinking kill number, tomes/item trade, or spirit bonding), it becomes "Liberator".

The Rowena tokens seem to have switched source.

It now says for the delivery of beastmen tools.

So I think the extreme primals keep their accessories, and get that new mount drop for each, while Leviathan EX gets i100 weapon. But that the Rowena token thing is no longer from doing the trio of extremes.
