Leviathan Ex are 100, HM are 95.

If you look closely in the notes you'll see that there are 12 atma's item to collect. What is suspected at the moment is that you will first get an anima weapon, that you will upgrade into an atma, using for example 4 of the 12 atma on it. The 4 atma you pick will determine the 4 stats the weapon is getting. Once those are picked, you can continue upgrading the atma into burtgang, keeping the same stats but increasing the amount bit by bit until you reach i110.

I think that these are just two separate weapons/gearing options.

One if a masterwork that you can gain through soldiery tomes ( weather xxxxx), and then restore to i110 (xxxxx).
The other you quest/collect items to get (relic atma) and then do more grinding/collecting to take to animus, and get the achievement.

Remember that they said that the would keep adding on to the quest for the Zodiac upgrade so it makes sense that it only goes as high as i100 initially. They have patches 2.25,2.23,2.35 to add quests and bring it up to/near High Allagan/restored Gerolt, before they raise the item level.

I'm only sad that I will be replacing my Allagan Cane with a 1 hander. Getting the BLM treatment as a WHM.../sad.

The i100 / i110 weapons are Gerolt's masterworks.

Since all of his items have the Weathered i100 / final i110 format. I'm also assuming the Atma/Animus are simply different paths for relics. i.e. one for crit and the other for speed.

I doubt it. Besides, people will want to buy Twintania kills simply to move on to the next Coil turns.

Since Lev-HM will be part of the Main Scenario, I doubt it's too hard.

Animus/Atma are the same ilvl - it doesn't make sense for one to be an upgrade of the other. I bet you get to choose.

The weathered to regular is probably some other thing like the EX weapons. You get the weathered one as a drop/reward somehow and then, given that there's two new Allagan-branded items available that "wind back time", I bet you upgrade the weathered to it's "original state".

Also note there's a ton of "Weathered" armor stuff. I imagine those are Gerolt's masterworks. Have to find them then restore them somehow.

It also doesn't make sense to reward an achievement for choosing Animus and to not do the same for Atma.
