New Title's and Mount requirement unveiled for Tanks

New Patch notes for 2.2 have shown us the requirements for the tank mounts, and there's new titles for tanks to go with them.
They seem like they would take a long time to get so it probably wont result in a huge influx of bad tanks to get the mounts as we had thought.

A Tankless Job II (Paladin) Complete 100 high-level full party duties as a paladin. Title: of the Stalwart Shield

But Somebody's Gotta Do It (Paladin) Complete 200 high-level full party duties as a paladin. Item: Warlion Horn

A Tankless Job I (Warrior) Complete 50 high-level full party duties as a warrior. Title: the Meat Axe

A Tankless Job II (Warrior) Complete 100 high-level full party duties as a warrior. Title: of the Stalwart Axe

But Somebody's Gotta Do It (Warrior) Complete 200 high-level full party duties as a warrior. Item: Warbear Horn"

As of patch 2.2, the following trials and raids will count toward achievements requiring the completion of high-level duties with a full party:
The Howling Eye (Extreme) / The Navel (Extreme) / The Bowl of Embers (Extreme) / The Whorl Eater (Extreme) / Thornmarch (Extreme) / The Binding Coil of Bahamut (excluding Turn 3) / The Second Coil of Bahamut

They had better keep record of the existing tanks' number of runs because I'm gonna be pretty pissed if they don't.

I can see why they did it this way, but 200? There is no way this is going to motivate many new people to tank. Just a ridiculous number and time sink, one which most players (rightfully) won't bother with.

I know they keep track of amount of dungeons done, but doubt they have a record based on class/level of dungeon. Would really love to be wrong.

This is not to motivate people to start tanking, but for those who have levelled their Tank jobs to keep tanking.

so what is your idea? put like 50 fights? so people get mounts by next week then stop playing as tanks?

Yes. This is appreciated and a goal I will achieve. Should weed out the people who just level tank for the superficial reward, as none of the duties required to do it are too easy.

Great so those didnt count before... fml.

And mean this was to reward ppl that have been tanking all along so i would hope they have some way of knowing that kind of data. And im glad its not just some oh ur a 50 tank free mount bs like healer unicorn.

I totally agree with you. I play a tank because I like tanking. Not because I wanted some carrot dangling at the end of a stick. Hopefully will weed out the "I just wanted to cut down queue times for unlocking dungeons and progressing with main story" crowd.
