Minion Code: FFXIV ARR OST not working. NA import from cdjapan today.

I received my copy of FFXIV ARR OST today from fedex. Opened up the jewel case and noticed the code was on the inside of the spine insert this time. Proceeded to the mogstation to apply the code and got an error that the code was not valid.

Is it because of the release date?

Is it because of it being a cdjapan import?

I'm banking it's because of the release date but want to be absolutely sure as it does have an expiration date on it as well.

Special announcement on the log-in screen states that the OST code CANNOT be used until the 26th (I believe)

Ah see it now ty so much. They just posted it today is why. Fedex woke me up and I rushed to input my code straight away lol. Guess I should have looked at the lodestone first. I usually do. Looks like we won't be seeing our cute new minions till after this weeks maintenance.

Official release date is 03/26, makes sense you can't use it before then

But yeah, as has been said the code is not redeemable til the 26th, it's to stop hackers stealing codes and activating them prior to launch.

Regarding Serial Code Included in Upcoming Mar. 26-Release Soundtrack (Mar. 25)

The serial code included in the limited initial run of “A REALM REBORN: FINAL FANTASY XIV Original Soundtrack” for the in-game bonus item “Wind-up Bahamut” may only be redeemed starting from Mar. 26, 2014 00:00 (GMT).
Please be aware that you will not be able to enter the code previous to that time.

I ordered the soundtrack from the EU store, and it arrived just now but it looks like it is a Japan version
Anyone else got this? Or did you get one for your own region?

All of them are, if you read the page of the CD, you'll see a little message at the bottom saying it's japanese.
But don't worry about it, once you play it, it's pretty easy to tell what does what.
