I'm kind of confused on what a previous poster said about buying relics. Can anyone clarify? Not that it affects me as I have all 5 of my relics, but still would like some clarification.

Once you've completed A Relic Reborn, and thus gotten a given relic, you can go buy that Relic at any time from the Calamity Salvagers. Same with a lot of other one-time rewards (achievement rewards, unique quest rewards, AF armor, etc.). The full list is in the patch notes.
So you can go buy your relic to use for glow-less vanity. Or buy it to Zenith for vanity in case you like that but not the Zodiac look/glow.

There will be an NPC who will sell to adventurers all previous gears, bonus items from seasonal events AND relic weapons that they have lost for whatever reasons (examples: you discarded it by mistake or you've upgraded your relic to zodiac but want to keep its original appearance via glamour etc .. ) ...
Basically, if you owned it, now you can purchase it ...

Ah, that's cool. Thanks for the info. I do really like some of the relics (and zeniths), but I guess we'll see what the new weapons look like![]()

That's way I'm waiting for the lodestone database to be updated. I'm looking forward to seeing the new relic weapons and the new allagan sets ... I don't want SMN and BLM to look like that

LOL, it's kinda fun. But, I would not want that to be my main gear. Although, I have a feeling it might be. Notice the card with the spade on the hat. One of the new weapons for summoner/scholar is book of spades and book of diamonds.
