I don't think I know somebody who has fought in 200 of this duties.
Are they really trying to Thank "seasoned" tanks or to troll them?

It does say "As of 2.2", so maybe it will retroactively count earlier stuff for tanks who've been doing all the 8-mans before 2.2.

Edit: So wait, I guess mount collectors will just be grinding myth tomes on their DPS, i90ing their tank, and grinding turns 1 and 2?

This is what i'm hoping: "ok, 8man duties and primals hard count as high-end level duties. ALSO, we're adding XXXXXXX as high-end".

This is the case. It reads as of 2.2 these instances will count toward the count of 200. Notice it has the leviathan fight, which wasn't in 2.1? I'm sure they'll give tanks retro points for stuff they've cleared before, and now they're saying, additionally these instances will aslo count as of 2.2.

I hope that at least some of the stuff counts. I mean it's not a big deal but we have been tanking this whole time so it would be nice..

Give all those newbie tanks something to look forward to, you know? XD

I didn't interpret it in that way, but English isn't my first language so ...
Anyway I do hope you're right. I'm not a tank, but I know lots of people who deserve it and I'm not sure they meet that 200 high duty requirements

I think if depends of if the code and data storage was there to determine this prior to 2.2. I work in software and I use "As of X.X" meaning "a starting point for tracking" for statements like this. I know a handful of absolutely awesome tanks and I feel for them on this if this is true because they deserve the mounts.
