    Golden Saucer / Dragon Quest Casino (Wishlist)

    Hello fellow gamers!

    We know that the Golden Saucer will be coming at some point, but do we know what it will contain? Perhaps betting on Chocobo races, or theme-park rides?

    Perhaps <SEPARATE> from the Golden Saucer, I would really love to see a Dragon Quest casino (Music included) in this game. My first experience with the DQ Casino was in Dragon Warrior IV on the NES (US) when I got to Endor. The memory was so powerful that I can still remember the first time I played slots, saved up for epic weapons in Poker, or bet on monster fights.

    Playing against others in a casino would be PvP on an entirely new level.

    They have said that they have 3 events or games they plan for it to have at release, I had said in another thread that I think that we will be limited to the amount we will be allowed to play, and that more tokens would be sold via mogstation, that thread has since disapeared, so I'm gonna go ahead and guess I was right, and the Golden Saucer will end up being the central hub of the XIV cash shop.

    If they made it basically only a cash shop thered be hellfire and brimstone topics to a whole new degree for these forums. To have such a large feature only playable through real money on top of the monthly fees would turn a lot away.

    +1000000000000 a casino DQ styled pvp poker xD
    I would spend countless hours there, those casino's were the best!

    Or have players pvp in a tiny arena with other players betting money on who will win with odds changing on amounts of wins accumulated lol

    If it was a cash shop i'd lose all respect.

    Hate to be that guy, but isn't it Gold Saucer, not Golden? Just for the sake of consistency I hope they keep it Gold Saucer.
