Ok first off, part of this is a little beyond SE's control, but official drivers for ps3 controllers on the pc.

That said, better functionality with contollers would be nice. Targeting is a bit of a chore, even with the new feature. You should be able to map gathering/synth to a keybind (ie press x to start gathering/synth) being able to open inventory and gear with button presses would be nice, instead of clunky menu. And last of all an item use function for contollers. I use a controller to play and most of the time am not able to use items in battle (health potions, enemity reducers) because of the lack of a use button. There are several functions that are currently mapped to the controller I never use (target lock, auto-run, change view, and view status effects).

In order for SE to get drivers out for the PS3 controller they would either have to release a Universal driver for bluetooth dongles, or release a receiver similar to Xbox 360 controller. My advice would be to get the Xbox 360 controller wireless it's awesome that's what I use. And SE if you are listening...a lot of us are having troubles with the Xbox 360 controller shutting down due to idling and when you reconnect the controller the game does not recognize it.

Other games it's possible to reconnect thus it's a Config issue, please fix this. I have to shut down the game then bring the game back up...very annoying and time consuming. just sayin...

I use a wired 360 contoller for the most part, but I like my ps3 contoller better. The main point I was trying to get across was about functionality.

I'm fairly ok with the controller settings. However, I would like to be able to use /stpc and /stnpc in macros so tht I dont have to back out of the hot bar. That way I can choose an ability and then choose what target I need to use it on. Right now it feels like its in reverse order and counter-intuative.
