I *SERIOUSLY* doubt that. It'll probably be more like 50:1 to be honest. I would recommend that you expect a very bad ratio so not to be disappointed. The fact that they won't talk about the ratio leads me to believe it's going to be pretty sucky.

1:50 would be 40 myth for 2000phil , sounds rather unrealisitc to me since myth are going to be the new "phils" , for 40 myth you cant even get a item , and you get more for a single dungeon...

Frankly if Mythology is becoming the new Philo from a currency standpoint I seriously doubt they'll put some absurd ratio on it if they do at all. And if they do 1:2 sounds the most reasonable. Scoots people along toward what they were saving to begin with and gives the people who bothered to cap before 2.2 a kick in the pants forward.

There has been no official announcement from SE about the ratio.

What you heard was a speculation from another player.

On topic: I highly doubt it would be 1:1 ratio, but it won't surprise me if SE did do a flat trade just for connivence sake. As for what the OP is asking they could simply do a ranged trade in. If you have between X and Y you get Z in return. However, we won't know until the patch is released.

2:1 would be the best case scenario. 10:1 would be the most realistic.

Why do you doubt it? Myth are going to become the philo tomes. Meaning you can get them just as easily as you can philo now. Honestly, it makes more sense to be a 1:1. But really, until we see the real patch notes we won't really know

My thoughts exactly. If they're essentially becoming Philo, then why wouldn't it be a 1:1 exchange rate? With a 2,000 hard cap it's not like we're in desperate need of any sort of tomestone sink.

Because it's generally SE's line of thinking that you should not be able to instantly buy 2000 tomes worth of i90 gear immediately on patch day. There's going to be a conversion rate, and likely a brutal one. If you get ONE peice of iL90 gear on patch day by converting a full stack of Philo, then I'd say you got the good end of the deal.

So be ready to get back on the treadmil, hamster, and run for your masters!

Any MMO will never have a 1:1 ratio for something like this. Put your pride aside and listen to the experience talking. It will like others stated be at BEST a 2:1 with a heavy lean to 10:1 or higher. Capping and hoarding the Philo tomes right now is just a formality regardless of the myth cap being removed in 2.2.
