The Minimize Crash

Whenever I minimize Final Fantasy XIV while in full screen, I will get a notification saying that the DirectX Device could not be detected. It won't happen in Windowed Mode though.

Any idea what's going on?

EDIT: Just a note, I'm running Windows 7 64-Bit if that makes any difference.

The game will currently crash if you alt-tab from full screen due to the way it is coded.

There is a Borderless Window Script I found the other day, and it works great. I too can't stand playing in full screen and not being able to tab without killing FFXIV. If I need to check something online, its ridiculous that this is built into their game or that there are no other options for windowed mode, and it was getting annoying having the windows border and task bar shown while playing.

Don't need any script... just disable automatic alignment and move the window to fit the screen <.<
There will only be a small line at the top left and the taskbar hides automatically.
Only god knows if they ever fix the fullscreen crash problems.

How do I disable auto-alignment?

Go to control panel->ease of access->make the mouse easier to use->prevent windows from being automatically arranged

Unfortunately the game will crash if you try to Alt+tab it when in full screen mode, however it does look like there have been suggestions to work around that problem. Thank you everyone for your assistance in the matter!
