Question about new CE items

I was wondering- considering SE announced that the new CE items would be for PC and PS users, if I updated my account via Mog Station before/after ps4 release would I recieve the new items or would it have to be before the release?

As long as you upgrade to the collectors edition or input a CE code from a physical copy you will get the in game items regardless of the date you upgrade (unless the code expired or something). Those of us who have the 1.0 CE or the 2.0 PC and/or PS3 CE will (to my knowledge) receive the PS4 in game items as well. PS4 CE buyers will get the items from the 2.0 CE as well, so aside from physical stuff and items from 1.0's CE (no onion helm for you!), all CE owners will have access to all of the CE in game items.
