oh woopy! 7 times more gil with roulette lol! do you know how ridiculous you guys sound atm?

what i mean is that we start to see tanks complaining when they have no reason to. All class are the same but they get more money and special mounts.
and yes, i will take my tank to coil for mount as well, personally not complaining and very happy to get my bear in the future

tanks complaining about having to do 200 fights are the one ridiculous in my book

So i have mained war since release, and pld is my secondary class. I have better gear than the extreme fights so i don't really need to do them. I run roulette as a tank pretty much constantly for tomes and what not. Why then do i now have to go do content i have no need, nor desire to do to get a mount that is being touted as a "reward" for people who have tanked up until now, when it seems endgame fights only count? And as i read it, correct me if i am wrong, this is not retro active.

The lack of tanks does not effect 8 man content except maybe Relic weapons questline. It effects people trying to level their classes to 50 through the duty finder.

I get the idea SE is going for but it's not a smart solution. This wont make people want to lvl a tank.
I personally don't like doing 8 mans on my tank. I prefer to use my tank for 4 man content and do 8 man on my whm or drg. I really hope they adjust this to include 4-man lvl 50 dungeons.

It should be every lvl 50 instance because this isn't going to help queue times in one bit.

That's my thought as well except level 50 instance are easy to rush through, then you will get more speed run cause tank want to get their 200 dungeon run for the mount. Probably would have been better if it's a mix of achievement like tank a certain amount of level 50 dungeon through DF, no premade + a certain amount of extreme/coil, can premade. This way it won't be easy to get since you still need to tank extreme/coil, it will also helps with the lack of tank in DF.

tanks will get 7x times more gils than before when doing roulette, they will get free mounts for playing their class and i still expect some of them to complain

I do. I care about 3500 gil. Only because i know the rest of the group ain't getting anything! I am the RICH!

I care about 3500 gil too. I do it once a day, for 30 minutes tops. In a week, I get 24.5k. Not counting the money from the actual dungeon drops, whatever possible loot you can sell, and spiritbonding.

I won't say no to free money if it's easily attainable.

That said, roulette rewards aren't part of the discussion here. Roulette are 4-man dungeons, so they will never contribute to getting the mount anyway.

As for me, I plan to get the mount by spamming Coil I or something.

This is kida wierd because i thought that adding mount for tanks was supposed to ease the wait time for DF groups by encouragin tanks to join DF more that they currently are, so if we are required to do 8man conent for that it will absolutely do nothing for "lack of tanks" issue. Atleast i have zero plans to tank Coil 1/EX primals for pug's/DF when i am already busy to spam those places for FC members. Well only time will tell if this worked or not.

EDIT: Nevermind. I read the notes again, and saw the "Complete 200 high-level full party duties"

Kind of sucks since I won't get the mount even though I've been tanking since beta.
