Adventurers doing quest and killing epic things, but no main hero or op main character it's all within the games lore and the players only have powers the player can access. So yeah more like monster hunter manga and less ff unlimited which is the worst anime I've ever seen.
That or they slap this guy as the main character. Give him funny personality, along with references to us FFXIV player and make it a comedy ?
