Free Trials?

I am pro trail accounts if they are limited.

But I would make them invite only.
7 days is enough with level 15 cap.
Most of the other limitations listed.

If you have a free trial where you can't shout, can't tell, can't level much, can't make or carry more than a certain amount of gil etc, then I seriously advise AGAINST having free trials. The free trial players are going to be playing the WORST MMO EVER and spread the news.

SE had a free login weekend trial in December as part of the 2.1 patch. So maybe they'll do the same again for 2.2? (I admit that's a long shot, but you never know. ).

I definitely agree with this though - a free trial version would really help promote the game to prospective players in ways videos and screenshots can't. The whole 'try before you buy' thing.

I think 2 weeks is too generous, especially considering that when buying the game you get 1 month free (although almost impossible to activate, I couldnt work it out)
