Bloody Grimoire, Bow, and lances

We try to gather the pre-relic items and make them so we can give them to our fc members freely when they get to this stage of the game. Since patch 2.1 though no-one seems to recall bloody grimoire, bloody bow rims, or bloody lance heads dropping fro WP anymore. It seems to drop everything else but these 3 items. I know you can attain some from leve's etc.

We are curious if anyone knows where they actually drop from. Heard rumors of various dungeons but when I ask anyone out there no one can for certain pin point the new dungeons they are dropped from.

I've seen exactly one bloody grimoire binding in the couple-dozen times I've done WP. I believe the ones in question are just rarer or something.

It did not make building my pre-relic SCH/SMN weapons fun, let me tell you.

All the weapons still drop from Wanderer's Palace, except for the white mage one, that is all alchemy stuff.

I always see them drop from WP. Every time I end up in that dungeon I make it a point to double back and grab all the chests people usually forget about. All the time I've at least gotten a binding, a bow, or bloody lance.

Bloody Grimoire you can also get as a reward from level 45 alchemist leves, if you are lucky. They are also as rewards a rare reward.

IIRC, the three you mentioned (bow, book, and lance) all drop from the chest where the beetles spawn to the west of the door before the flan boss. Most people skip this chest because there is no key or locking mechanism near it, which is probably why you don't ever see them.

A Monk and I went back through WP after completion and snagged this chest. I got Bloody Spear Head and he had gotten the bow piece.

I do the same. I have gathered so many of the crafting pieces because of this
