Small House Expansion Questions

Hey just a few clarifying questions that I'd appreciate being answered by any of you (with a source) or a Dev please. <3

1. Is the current house getting expanded AND a basement getting added or is it just a basement of equal size?

2. Where are the stairs going to be that lead down to the basement?

3. If you have a piece of furniture where the stairs are going to be what happens to it?

4. Are we getting more outside Furnishings as well?

and some misc questions about housing in general.

4. Anyone know how much it will cost to get the npcs/retainer in the house?

5. How much are the garden patches going to be?

6. Any news on Airship/Chocobo Farm?

Because this is the general discussion boards....I'd say housing falls under that as well. Interested in these things as well.

it should be in the housing section.

but I can answer the first question. In the last live letter (the early half) I belive Yoshi mention the size of the small house will increase so 8 person can fit into it and there will be basement as well.

I have logged out myself in my S house at the corner... wondering if I will fall down to the basement upon next logon after patch...^^;

I suspect that the bit where the stairs will go probably doesn't exist yet. It'll just be easier for them to add another section to the back of the house than to try and figure out how to deal with the furniture in an existing spot.

According to the preliminary patch-notes you'll be waking-up at your front gate. Apparently you'll fall so hard you'll fall through reality.

In preparation for the addition of residential wards, as well as individual player housing, players who join a duty or log out from within an estate hall will now return to the estate entrance when logging in or returning from an instance.

FYI - I woke up at the entrance of the housing AREA but not my front gate! I was really shocked and feared as my house is on the farest row from the AREA entrance.
Fortunately, then I entered DF from the house and got back to the front gate but not the "area entracne"
