PSN Account Question

Hello All -

I have a very specific question that I can't seem to find the answer to.

When I initially bought my ps3 copy of the game, I linked it to my roommates PSN account, as I did not have my own PS3. Well, now I bought my own PS4 and have my own PSN account.

My question is this: Will I be able to play with my characters/account on my own PSN/PS4? I remember when I first registered it on my roommates PS3 that it said the link was permanent. I'm a little confused whether it's that you can only link one registration code per PSN account, or only one PSN account per Square Enix account.

I don't care about having to buy the game again for ps4, nor do i care about the free upgrade. I just want to be able to play the game on my ps4. Thanks everyone.

That particular license is bound to that PSN account. Then you bind that PSN to your SEAM if I remember right. Not sure just how the character data is linked though--if it's exclusive to the PSN or not. You can log into that PSN account from other systems though, so it may be bound to the PSN data somehow. Don't recall any case where they moved data to another PSN account--that may be more of a Sony thing than SE.

This is something you should take up with SE through their support portal--confidential info and what-not you don't want posted on an open forum. They're real picky about manipulating character data directly in the databases though. Technically it can be done... they just don't do it for the most part. Won't know until you contact them about it though.
