I need Piety Materia III to meld, does anyone know what kind of item I need to make and spiritbound then convert it into Piety Materia III? I know it's kind of random but what items usually turn into Piety Materia III?

aetherite rings have been piety mainly for me

O_O but that's a control ring, it will convert into crafting materia. I don't think it will convert into piety

The Aetheryte Ring is a bit unusual. Unlike most crafting equipment, it does not convert into crafting materia and does convert into status/elemental materia.

You'll have better luck with healing gear (level 45+) over aetheryte rings. But alternatively you could just buy one off the markets. They're pretty cheap on my server.

Everything on my server is expensive, shards going 80gil, gatherers' grasp leatherworker materia quest going for 30k, etc... I will have to play WP with my items and try to get it myself.

Since your Cnj I would say make yourself a set of the Goldsmith rings / Neck earrings lvl 45-49 and wear em while you do roulette or something like CT, the stat difference will be minimal and no one will even notice. then convert em. just make sure they are the Healing rings and you'll have a better than average chance.

as a bonus if nothing else you can sell the ones you cant use and use the money to buy the one you need
