    Yoshida: Strictly speaking, the item level is different. This is because the soldiery equipment is obtained from a simple exchange, but there's a bit of a gimmick for the Binding Coil equipment, so they aren't equal. For A Realm Reborn, there are items that are obtained as direct drops and those that are obtained over time, but we also want to have items which can be developed over a long period of time for those who have more time to play.
    Lets just wait and see how it works first before assuming that it's the same as current coil and passing judgment before the patch even hits.

    for now people tend to prefer range class (mostly because it's safer and easier to play) but who know, maybe at some point we will have 2 melee dps per group, because it's better and safer. then i'm against make adjustement that will simply hurt more the melee than it is now.

    Good for you that the monk in your static was fully equiped well before anyone else but I can say for our runs that there wasn't one monk piece that dropped twice in over half a year of coil and I already gave up on the gloves and weapon because they just never drop.

    20 weeks without seeing a basic Allagan Headpiece (Healing) so I still don't have it to match lol.

    At least you got the healing tunic. Haven't seen a single tunic since November so, here I am stuck with "worst in slot" myth WHM robes.

    Myth vs Allagan is -1% casting time/GCD recast vs. about 2 HP extra on your cures. It's hardly worth getting upset about. People seem to vastly overstate how much secondary stats are actually worth.

    They had this back in 1.0, with primal weapon drops. You'd get a rare chance to see a random weapon drop, but everyone would get tokens after each fight. After about 20 kills or so, you were able to purchase a weapon of your choice by handing in the tokens. Since coil is not spammable with the weekly lockouts, I'd like a system where you can spend 3 tokens on an item of your choice. 3 weeks is a good enough wait for a piece that will become irrelevant within 3 months.

    So what you are saying is add another tomestone type currency to the game? But instead of making the items cost hundreds of tomes make them cost in the single - double digits. Got Ya.

    I see no point. SE made it so you can buy similar items using Tomestones and the Allagan gear would be a grind fest, where you would have to clear the turns weekly, in hopes of a drop.

    A better suggestion would be to lift the Weekly Lockout and set it at a 72 hour lockout, so you could run the Turns 2x a Week. Possibly Removing the Clear Lockout and make it more of a CT-Style Loot Lock out would be another route.

    This is something I'm extremely concerned about. When with myth and current allagan being the game ilvl it makes it a lot easier to close up gaps in drops. we've been able to gear out completely one tank, 0 healers and most other jobs are on freelot in my static. We have never seen most of the healer drops, ever after 4 months of farming. If they are tuning the difficulty of turn 9 like they did 5, I could see many groups that are unable to gear key jobs through luck on the RNG unable then to complete it. Unless they tune it around soldiery gear, in which case after getting some 110 in key jobs, it then becomes laughable. Neither situation is what you want out of the hardcore endgame.
