What is your first memorable party in Final Fantasy 14 Online?

This is something many ARR did not get to experience but during the beginning of 1.0., you could make 16 men parties. FFXIV being my first MMORPG, I didn't not know a single thing about being efficient for experience points, so I invited a bunch of random players thinking how fun it will be running 16 men parties. At Skull Valley we popped a leve at the highest difficulty (stars) and well, we wiped.

But in 1.0., the monsters did not stop till everybody was dead, so if you respawned it will chase you, it was a pretty long cycle of dead > respawn > chased > looped through 16 people .

Throwing 32 people at a level 90 Goobbue I think was as good as it was gonna get for me. We spent a good 2 hours. Lots of fun and shenanigans especially on Team Speak.

the first time i had the great luck of meeting the elder mosshorn during a leve party........ many laughs ensued after it droped us and we came back to watch to see just how many groups it would take out. that was probably the most fun i've had in 14 besides the time i spent soloing dodore and bloatbelly on my thm.

The first memorable PT: FFXIV 1.0 our LS vs Crab near Cedarwood, we failed.
In ARR: 1st CM where people insulted me because I didn't want to skip the CS

In 1.0 I looked up to another healer who I won't name, kind of idolized him since I was still very new to the game and server. So when I was asked to heal Ifrit Hm shortly after it first came out that was kind of a big deal.



In 2.0: I think the first time I was able to just group up to see what changed with all the people I hadn't hung out with in xiv for about a year on launch was a bit more profound than anything to date.

This wasn't my first exp pt but a later one in Coerthas at the wolf camp. Tank pulled more than he could take and pt the started to die one by one as we kept fighting. Cheering each other on to stay alive, I was the last one and was able to take out what was left. Then with me in the middle of my dead team I just spammed /laugh(I had an evil sounding laugh in 1.0).

It's how I got into a pretty cool linkshell as well. I miss em'

Most memorable moment of the game was when me and some linkshell mates teamed up once I found the first guardian archstone that got stealth added in a update.

We launched the forums and servers into a frenzy to locate all the diety stones and who could find them all first, then began the rampant speculation of what they were used for...sadly they were used for story missions and guided by quest markers...I think finding them before the update was amazing though, hidden in some really off the wall areas.

2.0:....nothing I remember how little people talk in duty finder.
