    Really think the only dungeon changes they need are to adjust the ilv requirement. They really should be tiered so people don't attempt them to early and they can least see in the menu that X dungeon is harder the Y dungeon. Having all the dungeons ilv55 is counter productive.

    you could just play a patch behind like me.
    im just now ready for coil turn one. havent bothered getting my relic yet to busy collecting titan weapons
    that way i dont feel like im wasting my time. havent done ex primals yet either.

    All this people crying about wanting nerf (Specifically Titan HM). will come flood the forum begging to nerf Titan EX. So the echo buff provides HP/Dmg boost this will allow some barely survive after failing to dodge plums in titan HM. and do absolutely nothing if u just awful at dodging Landslide. Buff will be able to carry others through Garuda EX. Main issue is tank failure to position and 2nd is DPS failure to kill sis. in time.
    Titan EX. requires stacking for plums and if u fail to dodge u will die regardless of the bonus HP granted by echo buff. The buff will do nothing for you if you suck at dodging 5way LS/bombs.

    You basically say, that everything is fine and people die just because "they suck". If this your point of view, I don't agree.

    When more content is added to the game, the difficult encounters that right today are stopping all not elite players, have to be made less difficult, to let players enjoy the game itself for all that have to offer. Less difficult, does not means a free ticket to skip the encounter.

    With your reasoning, in a future version 10.15, 99% of the content will be played only by people like you.

    Who cares what they do to AK/EXM/wtv, and how on earth would not nerfing it cater to the hardcore?
    Oh right it's super hardcore to go kill demon wall with ilvl 100 gear...

    Ok I didn't read all the thread, and this may have been mentioned before, apologies if that's the case.

    Here's the thing, with how the game is designed with a very liner and iLvl requirements in all content, this is required. Things of how things are currently you need to beat Hard mode primals to enter coil, you need to beat turn 5 to enter the second coil, you need to beat EM Garuda to enter Titan and Titan to enter Ifrit and Ifrit must have been killed to enter Levi and Mog extreme. What this can do is create a brick wall that completely locks out players from 2.2 content, and possibly future content, unless things are changed.

    Now I hear you say "Why not just add different content for people who can't win the harder fights" I point you 2.to the 1, when CT was released all the people saying "what's the point if coil gear is better" "Why make it easier than coil" etc etc. Who's to say that kind of comment wouldn't come again if easier content was made offering better gear than the current content? This is a required step in the current game design.

    Wow.. after wading through 30 pages of this thread I am.. just wow.

    Ok. So.. I want to respond to the OP. I am overall happy with the changes and balances to obsolete content.
    I want to take you back in time.. back before you had good gear. Back to when the game was shiny and new and you failed again and again on THE WALL in duty finder. I remember being raged at as a tank. In fact that was one of the many reasons I stopped using duty finder as a tank. I still remember people would get super frustrated and BAIL or yell and scream as if it was somehow my fault that the DPS couldn't kill stuff faster, or the healer fell off. I leveled up a bard and went back into duty finder and by that time the shiny new game had matured. More people had dark light, or GASP myth. It was easy. The bees were annoying.. that's about it. We patted ourselves on the back and moved on. Ditto on the final boss. We knew where to drag the zappy balls and who needed to kill the adds and where to hide from the AE. Its called trial and error and we learned!

    Ok so I get why in your current gear you don't get the nerf. Bluntly I don't either. I considered it a good way to train to dodge stuff and heal, or dodge stuff and dps, or grab adds and tank. However, the wall, because of the bee's WAS a huge roadblock to a lot of people. Remember they are hoping for an entirely new player base from the PS4 and also the Steam accounts which are far behind all of us who were playing since beta. Maybe, just MAYBE, the nerf is so people don't nerdrage on the new players who they come in contact with in the duty finder. People who don't know what to do will still need to learn the patterns. They just won't be penalized as hard. This will in turn make the game more enjoyable for them as they struggle to catch up with a 6 month time handicap. I look at this as reducing the difficulty to match the rewards tbh. This content is going to be obsoleted by myth tomes being handed out like candy, so why should the change offend you so much?

    As a former hardcore player in FFXI this is really easy to answer: Yes.

    In fact, the less hardcore players put in much less time to get the same reward, they just don't get them as quickly. I think Square Enix has evolved and has made FFXIV a much better game by doing just as you are complaining about. After FFXI, I got a life and now I get to play a game as a busy, casual, doing irl grown-up stuff -- without being perpetually punished for it like I was in FFXI.

    My problem isn't with mechanics...for me it is the community ._.
    I'm a person who usually has to struggle to get better so that means failing at first. So no body really wants me in their party. The only reason I even got to turn 4 in Coil was because I found like the ONE newbie friendly party in the month or so I waited. And I learned enough from it to know what I'm doing in T1 - T3. Though I'd like to try the non enrage mode sometime. But yeah, I get raged at for doing bad when it's my first time or I just never find a party to even do it. Or people rage quit after one wipe....
    It's why I've been procrastinating things for...a month or two. Like Ultima Hard mode. I LOVE part 1 of ultima in the Praetorium with Hydaelyn and the cinematicness of the fight. It's possibly my favorite boss in the whole game so far. But I've been afraid to do it on hard mode, extreme primals, coil and such because of the communites general hatred for first timers in their party z.z I only did Thornmarch because some friends went with me so I felt comfortable enough to at least try it. Same with CT lol. Idm that the game got kinda hard for me (took like a week to get decent at Titan HM. Got my relic a month ago and never looked back 8D), it's just I don't find many parties that won't have people ditching or kicking first timers. I'm not really complaining as much as ranting. People have every right to make their own parties. I just wish there was less pressure and stress from the end game community to be perfect lol
    So I'm HOPING these nerfs/this buff/whatever you want to call it will make the community less hateful towards newer members.

    It's prolly just wishful thinking....but I can dream, at least x.x
