Wow.. after wading through 30 pages of this thread I am.. just wow.
Ok. So.. I want to respond to the OP. I am overall happy with the changes and balances to obsolete content.
I want to take you back in time.. back before you had good gear. Back to when the game was shiny and new and you failed again and again on THE WALL in duty finder. I remember being raged at as a tank. In fact that was one of the many reasons I stopped using duty finder as a tank. I still remember people would get super frustrated and BAIL or yell and scream as if it was somehow my fault that the DPS couldn't kill stuff faster, or the healer fell off. I leveled up a bard and went back into duty finder and by that time the shiny new game had matured. More people had dark light, or GASP myth. It was easy. The bees were annoying.. that's about it. We patted ourselves on the back and moved on. Ditto on the final boss. We knew where to drag the zappy balls and who needed to kill the adds and where to hide from the AE. Its called trial and error and we learned!
Ok so I get why in your current gear you don't get the nerf. Bluntly I don't either. I considered it a good way to train to dodge stuff and heal, or dodge stuff and dps, or grab adds and tank. However, the wall, because of the bee's WAS a huge roadblock to a lot of people. Remember they are hoping for an entirely new player base from the PS4 and also the Steam accounts which are far behind all of us who were playing since beta. Maybe, just MAYBE, the nerf is so people don't nerdrage on the new players who they come in contact with in the duty finder. People who don't know what to do will still need to learn the patterns. They just won't be penalized as hard. This will in turn make the game more enjoyable for them as they struggle to catch up with a 6 month time handicap. I look at this as reducing the difficulty to match the rewards tbh. This content is going to be obsoleted by myth tomes being handed out like candy, so why should the change offend you so much?
