There is such a great value put on level up to 50 right now this minute right now hurry up omg are you there yet I need you to party with me in my end time dungeons. No, I guess not, well you don't matter much to me but I'll be nice to you because I'ma good person. Do you need help with that??? No, just because I choose to craft instead of level my tank/healer to help you get your titan or w/e doesn't make me stupid, thx. Well, okay then, level up my Free Company by doing more so I can have Company Chest storage to myself even tho I've lost interest in you until you learn to play the game right. That's a good lowbie bee-ach.

I love this game, themepark or not. I like a lot of you players also. But f* your damn endgame to hell. I don't give a shyte about leveling leveling leveling endgame endgame endgame.

I'd like a guild... I mean FC... to hang out and talk to folks with while I craft but this game design just isn't promoting a friendly hang out attitude from other players. It's about them and their endgame and you are ignored like you aren't worth talking to unless you can produce. I feel like I've got a yoke around my neck and I'm pulling the plow so you can store your high level goods in the FC chest. You don't even want to share the FC chest with me or others. The only one who gets a promotion is the lvl 50 who just joined five seconds ago because they ran Ifrit with you. They are obviously important. Never mind that all my HQ gathering and day and night crafting leveled your guild so you could get those extra chest spaces - all to yourself.

I have been in over 20 FC's to see how they each chose to operate and this is what I'm seeing. Lowbies get mistreated and talked to like they are idiots. I have two very good FC's plus a comprable [not a word because Webster missed it] one. The good FC's give full access to the guild chest which says to me they are not greedy and want to share. So they actually care about me. The comprable one works at making activities low level players can do with high levels and the high level players TALK to the low players like adults not retards. I don't approve of Chest space to the guild leader minus one tab tho.

I don't see a possible resolution. Treating low level players like they don't matter is a themepark vice. This game isn't about to transform into a sandbox so I guess it's up to us lowbies to get tough and refuse the abuse. Don't give in to speeding to level 50 to make your Free Company happy. Leave them.

BlackJack Knights of Ultros are a friendly FC, always getting a group together to help fresh 50's do stuff like HM Primals and getting their first relic. It seriously sounds like you either suck at finding an FC that suits you or haven't actually tried 20. Here's a helpful hint, ask the FC leader what the FC is all about before you shoot the gun and join. You really do sound like you had a bad time and now think that every FC will treat you badly, that is really not the case.

LCC in Ragnarok help newbies to get to lvl50 and show them the end content.
We're French based though.

I also help any "newguy" in any way possible, tips, pick my tank and show 'em dungeons, explaining classes, you name it.

I also do "1st relic Titan HM" runs for newbies, where I only accept those who only have 1-2 lvl50s.

There are good people in any server, you only need to either find them or ask arround until some fine people help you.

Here's how we at <<OATH>> have done our FC. The top 3 ranks are Leader, Guardian, and Honorary. Leaders and Guardians are the founders (We all know each other irl) Next 3 are Officer(People who seem promising for leader responsibilities) Member (basically you have proven you're not a troll/asshat) and lastly Trainee (we know nothing of you)
HONORARIES however are players we've met through the game and have earned our complete trust. They have every bit of power that the founders do and are invited to the OATHKEEPERS LS. The LS is for making FC decisions. For example FC housing (we asked all Officers, members, and trainees as well.[For a general idea]) And the one time we kicked someone we called a meeting about it. (Said person was just making everyone uncomfortable[We expel any who purposely ruin the game for others after all we want XIV to thrive])

As for people who craft only. That's entirely ok. Crafting has huge benefits and most crafters are just nice, sociable people. They rank up easiest by gearing whomever they can and donating gil to the FC.

The only people we don't really recruit are Role Players. It's just not really our thing. We don't bother RPers, just let them have their fun.

EDIT: Also we are reserved with our FC chest. We don't want possible trolls or thieves taking anything. Everyone is allowed to view it and you can simply ask anyone rank Officer or higher to pull them out for you.

The benefits of being higher rank are designed to make players WANT to be more kind/friendly to others. Including those outside of OATH. Skill has next to nothing to do with ranking.

Interesting... I see the FC I'm in nurturing their newcomers. I make them whole sets for free whenever they ask. There are always people leveling another class, so there's usually people to run stuff along with them.

Maybe the problem is on Faerie or... well...

my FC is a mostly raiding FC but we still occasionally pick up the random sub 50. tbh it puts alot of strain on fc leadership to try and include these folks, the best we can do is help them along with their story quests when they need it or give them advice. i can understand where the OP is coming from but all i can suggest is to not join a raiding FC or perhaps start your own FC and find like minded people to join it with you

as far as the chest issue is concerned its pretty standard for most FC's to keep at least one tab designated for officer/leader use and most keep the gil and crystals to deposit only and will have an officer in charge or passing out loot/crystals from the chest, a treasurer of sorts.

i have not heard good things about faerie. i recently had 7 friends transfer off of faerie because of how bad it is over there
