The new Allagan set of items needs to have a small customization option.

Not sure how but I see more White Mages wearing them with their Allagan head and body and Myth legs and feet than not.

Check loot tables of Coil. Then you know the reason. Healer glovers drop in turn 1. Body in turn 4. Legs in turn 5. Thery are buying stuff that is harder to get because it drops very late in coil.
