So in the new 2.2 patch notes, they announced you will be able to exchange any Philo you have left for Myth. Whats the speculation on the exchange rate?
Is it most likely to be 1 for 1?

I feel like if it was that simple they would've just said so.. I think we're going to be in for a surprise.

I'm pretty confident it isn't 1 to 1 but, it's probably fairly generous.
Otherwise, you could mostly gear a job once logging in. But, myth will be so easy to obtain, I wouldn't worry. Anywhere you got philo tomes as a reward before, you will now obtain myth or sold instead:
Please note that any Allagan tomestones of philosophy obtained prior to patch 2.2 will not be lost. All trials and duties that formerly yielded Allagan tomestones of philosophy will now offer either Allagan tomestones of mythology or Allagan tomestones of soldiery.
Hmm I'm not sure the ratio will be 1:1 as it would give players like us a considerable advantage as we can easily stockpile it. Someone else here on the forums pointed out that beastmen dailies give out philio and myth at a 5:1 ratio so perhaps the trade in value would be similiar..

My thoughts are this though: If I have 153 Philo and the exchange rate is anything but 1:1, then I am going to still have Philo left over after exchanging it. Sure, it could be 3:1, but then what about people who might have 110 Philo. These odd numbers are caused by the rewards from the Primals.
I guess it is just possible that we will be clunkily left with a very small number of Philo.
Whatever it is, I'm sure people here on the forums will be very angry about it.
Most likely they will have you turn in all your philosophy for a reduced amount of myth and throw away any remaining philosophy after the exchange. I am hoping for a 1 to 1 exchange though.

I'm going to bet 5 to 1.
I'm outraged already just to be safe.
