It would make sense to use Echo power to revisit these cutscenes.

+1 Simply because my memory can fail me at times, and if there is a substantial gap between storyline missions for me (due to RL obligations or whatever) I can feel disconnected and sometimes forget large chunks of what I've previously accomplished in the story. Would be great to be able to relive the important details at my own leisure.

I really enjoyed this feature in FFXI, and would love to see it here as well! To be able to rewatch fav cutscenes and refresh myself on the storylines would be very nice! ^_^

If they do, please make it so that you're able to watch them all in one place and not have to run around for "Goblin footprints" like in FFXI. I remember when I tried to rewatch all the CoP cutscenes and had to run to places like Monarch Linn which at least then was very hard to access alone.

I've mentioned this so many times to my friends in game and even once or twice here on the forums, but I've NEVER heard a dev respond to it yet. I love the cut-scenes in this game, and given the opportunity to either:I would love to be able to redo some of the cutscenes and cinematics so I can wear the gear I would have liked to have seen in the scenes.
We could just go to some Memory NPC and select our memory and it could replay with the gear we have on.
Not a big or important change but I would like to relive my favorite moments in the adventures I've had... (Seriously SE should give us a way to remember why we're still playing this game in it's current state.)
Why not?

A) Talk to someone in game: Adventurer's Guild NPC, new NPC created, etc.
or
B) Replay scenes from main menu with current gear equipped on, would be awesome

Playing the quests again (without the addition of rewards from completion) would be amazing for me, considering how much I enjoy listening to the lore, the characters, and overall plots involved in each avenue.
I don't expect anything like this being implemented anytime soon, since they are very busy at work, but hopefully someday it is looked at further.
I feel the a majority of the players, by the time they increase rank cap and start continuing the main quest storyline, players will have forgotten half of the things said and done throughout the games progression.
Considering how stretched out the main quests can be, I feel this feature will not only be available to players to get "up to date" with current events in the story, but allow them to experience them again and again, without having to use Youtube or starting a new character, like I have.
Thankfully I've recorded almost all of the games quests already, but I worry for others as well.

we need a bard in cities, and goblin footprints for outdoors cutscenes!

I don't care how they do it, as long as it is done in some way
Although some bard "singing" about your adventures and letting you relive them through his song would be pretty atmospheric
It would even make sense that you see yourself in your current gear, because the bard doesn't know how you looked when you experienced the thing he's singing about - just the current you, with the gear you have equipped the moment you talk to him.

I like this idea. Walking up and having an NPC know about your adventures and putting them into song is really appealing to me. Although I don't want to hear a song, seeing the cutscene would be dandy.I don't care how they do it, as long as it is done in some way

That's how it was in XI, so I wouldn't know any other way to implement it that fits into the lore, since I think XI's city bard was a great addition, that kept it kinda lore-ish "i'm gonna sing about you" *cutscene*

That's actually what I meant when I said "letting you relive your adventures".
Sorry, English is not my native language, so sometimes it's not easy to convey what I mean.
I didn't play FF XI, so I don't know about how it worked there, but if there was such a bard, I like it![]()
