PS4 question

Hello all,
With the impending release of the ps4 version I was wondering something. During my R and R from Afghanistan in the beta test (good timing, lucky for me ;D) I set up and played the beta on my PC. My girlfriend was playing on ps3. Well, one day she was at work, so I wanted to fiddle around with the PS3 version for a bit, So I logged into my PSN account and when I pulled up the client...everything was greyed out. I couldn't even attempt to enter my account information.
What i'm wondering is...will there be similar restrictions on the ps4? Or will we both be able to play on the same system (albeit not at the same time....obviously) as long as you switch between PSN accounts? I never tried this after the beta, so it very well may be that I've been able to do this all along with the PS3 version....if so feel free to correct me, but at the time it would not allow it.
Edit: I've seen elsewhere that you need a separate registration key in order for this to work, which would mean I would need to buy another copy? I bought the 1.0 CE a long time ago so I definitely do not have that information anymore lol
