    I hate the idea of Echo Buff. It should be part of some easy server not whole game.

    For me, most of the fun I have in videogames comes from the challenge required to beat stuff. When things are made easier they become boring The primal fights are one of my favorite fights. Theyre great: I love the look of the stages, the primals themselves, the battle music, the strategy involved to beat them. But the reason I enjoy them so much is because they are DIFFICULT.

    Something like this should be part of some easy mode server, and not applied to everyone in the whole damned game.

    If this buff can be applied to a character after 3 minutes of combat, whats to stop people from synchronizing their watches and saying "okay 3 minutes are up everyone wipe" and doing this 5 times?

    If any devs are reading this please pass this on to someone who can remove the damned experience fizzling, boredom inducing idea of the echo buff.

    hopefully you can toggle it off like regen/protect.

    I haven't done T5 yet so I really would like a full experience.

    Perhaps echo in DF only? IDRK how to have a compromise with this one :/

    AFAIK, the echo buff has always been optional. Most buffs can just be removed by clicking them.

    If you want them to remove the echo buff, why not ask them to put a cap on the iLvl you can take into a primal fight? Or all fights for the matter. Ex primals in full 90 gear are walks in the park, especially after you memorize mechanics. If you don't want to use the echo, turn it off. If you want primals to be "difficult", use full darklight. Then your hunger for challenging content will be sated.

    The key is to not wipe if you don't want the echo buff. :3 (I didn't know you could turn it off at all.) I'm expecting PF groups to start saying "NO WIPES" in the description. XD

    Here is the Coil echo buff excerpt for how it will roll out over the next couple months:
    ■The Binding Coil of Bahamut

    ○ Adjustments made in patch 2.2
      - After the patch 2.2 release
       ・You will be able to enter the dungeon through the Duty Finder (full party only).
       ・The weekly entry restriction has been removed.
       ・The effect of ADS' “High Voltage” has been alleviated (Turn 1 and Turn 2). In addition, you will be able to remove the paralysis effect via Esuna, etc.
       ・An item level restriction will be implemented in every turn of the Binding Coil of Bahamut.

      - 2 weeks after the patch 2.2 release
       ・You will be able to enter the dungeon through the Duty Finder (solo).
       ・The reflection damage of the Clockwork Knights in Turn 4 will be alleviated.

    ○Details
      - After the patch 2.2 release
       ・None.

      - 2 weeks after the patch 2.2 release
       ・The effect will automatically be activated upon entry of the instance.
       ・Your HP, damage dealt, and cure potency will be increased by 10%.

      - 4 weeks after the patch 2.2 release
       ・The effect will automatically be activated upon entry of the instance.
       ・Your HP, damage dealt, and cure potency will be increased by 15%.

      - 6 weeks after the patch 2.2 release
       ・The effect will automatically be activated upon entry of the instance.
       ・Your HP, damage dealt, and cure potency will be increased by 20%.

      - 8 weeks after the patch 2.2 release
       ・The effect will automatically be activated upon entry of the instance.
       ・Your HP, damage dealt, and cure potency will be increased by 30%.

      - Beyond 8 weeks
       ・While we’ll monitor the situation at that time, we believe 30% should be okay as the maximum amount.

    Let's be real, how many people choose to do the normal method for turn 2 rather than the enrage method? How likely is it for people not to take the route with the least amount of resistance which by the way people say they choose to do rather than "the archaic way of old school mmorpgs."

    Pretty much this. Sooner or later your ganna hear people begging SE to make the echo buff permanent because of the "I don't got time for your sh*t" mentality and all the "this fight isn't challenging, it's just a fracking script, go play Dark Souls or something!" reasoning.
