No matter how "official" you think this is, it won't reach to the 90% that never really come to the forms. ( but I liked the direction)
Well, perhaps official was the wrong word but the idea was to get an idea of what people think and have it show with numbers. Polls are statistical, getting the entire playerbase to vote would be impossible but sample size can be achieved.
Might as well toss in the 404,000 likes on facebook.
Always remember the Silver Rule:
"Treat others as they treat you!" ...or something like that.
Honestly the forums are the vast minority of the player base, you will hardly get any insight with this thread.
Results can be skewed as a player can technically 'like' both post
This. But I agree. I like the direction.
To an extent. But you will still only be sampling a population that is willing to visit an internet forums and a large part of that population is going to be a group that has been referred to as "The Vocal Minority" and still not a good representation of the community on a whole. But I am still ok with lending my vote to your survey.
Liking both posts just negates any changes to both sides to the poll really except increasing them both by one. Only way to skew it would be to use multiple accounts. I was just hoping players would act in good faith and just decide whether they liked or didn't like where the game is going. A poll isn't supposed to be accurate. You guys are looking to far into this, its just to get a general idea of what "some" people think. You can't please all the people all the times. This gives SE and us an idea to think what "some" of those people think at least.
