Phew! When I saw the topic title I thought it meant more job nerfs. Don't scare me like that!

I'm ok with old content being made easier but some of this content isn't even that old yet!
There are still people who have been working hard at 2.2 content and want to complete it at it's intended difficulty.
I don't mind that it's happening but it is happening so soon!
You really didn't miss much.
I was on one of the bigger NA servers and you never saw people actually doing sea endgame. Forawhile, I thought the linkshell I was in was the only group doing it. The torques were cool, but not worth the investment really in time/effort. Noone could beat AV. The obis and belts were cool, and useful, actually awesome really. With certain jobs you could easily solo getting the organs you needed. It has been a long time, but that was about the only gear reason I can think of to get sea. Did CoP have a ring? I think it did, I can't remember though.
Sweet story that everyone should have seen though. I always felt bad for the people who couldn't win the fights.
CoP has the ring at the end of the questline, Rajas/Savvta, forget the mage one because nobody used it.You really didn't miss much.

i don't see why it would matter
Blizzard has done this in the past with raid buffs like Hellscream's Warsong, but the amount of people I have ever seen turn it off for their progression are approximately zero. Besides, they already nerfed Twintania twice and snakes were one of the toughest parts of the fight. There isn't really anything to say about killing Turn 5 without a buff. It's not like you can turn off those nerfs
Just seems like a waste of time and resources to add if you ask me.
@OP
You could go to FFXI for a challenge or play any other game. Content will be lowered to allow more people to experience it. That means everything. Nothing is sacred here. I myself am hardcore and don't need the nerfs but if I let them bother me I would have to quit. I just try to enjoy the game for what it is.
With new PS4 players coming in, it will ease their progression into high endgame. Also, these buffs are not coming in until two weeks after patch and it's a low amount buffed. I can see twin still be hard for some types of players with the first buff, but it will help in their practice in learning the fight![]()
People will have already beaten second coil while this first buff is going on. Isn't it a question of who the men and the boys are? If not that, then what is the harm? Twin isn't being nerfed at all the first two weeks. People still have time to collect themselves and beat it in it's original state to move onto Coil 2 floors. I kind of think the clock ticking on getting echo buff is an incentive for some to get her down, if they haven't already, and adds a little something to the need to defeating her!
