There's no more of a gap beween i90 and i110 than there is between i70 and i90. I see lots of people in full darklight running things they shouldn't, so I see no reason that i90 gear/content couldn't have held its place until we make it to i130 (or whatever's coming up next).
Well, I remember we all were clearing turn 1/2 in mostly all i70 and the developers were shocked we were getting to turn 4. Of course, turn 4 was more of a gear check, for weeks we didn't have the dps to down the first dread before the next adds spawned. There's no more of a gap beween i90 and i110 than there is between i70 and i90. Anyway, I see your point, it's valid. So, all I can say is, this is just how its going to be.
Although, I still don't think this is a big nerf, since you still need to observe mechanics.
I do believe people overestimated the potency of the Echo-Buff. Coil will not receive a nerf -> Players will have a buff ( Thats a difference there ) and also not right away. It will take what? 2 weeks (?) for each additional buff and it is not even in place right away after the Update. 10% more HP, more Damage will not make people be better DD's, healers, will not improve their skills in Teamplay, Coordination and dodging. 10% might does sound a lot, but if it comes do dodging t5, those 10% won't mean shit since getting tossed into a wall will still kill you, getting caught by Twisters will still kill you, eating Death-Sentence/Plummet will still hurt/kill you. Let aside that a Divebomb hitting a whole group, also still will fucking hurt lol. There's no more of a gap beween i90 and i110 than there is between i70 and i90. You still have to learn the fight/mechanics. The Echo Buff is not an "Instant Win Buff".
