Regarding yet again... more nerfs.

I think people forget that when content gets nerfed you're also taking away the ability of old players to revisit difficult content - not just giving new players or (bad) players the chance to beat it. If they couldn't beat Titan EX what makes them any more likely to beat Leviathan EX? Why is the babying necessary if it comes at the expense of limiting older player's experiences.

The echo buff is NOT taking that experience away. You can still clear the content as much as you want in its original difficulty. The echo is only applied if you die after three minutes of constant fighting. And the Coil echo can be removed. People still have to learn the mechanics. The echo buff isn't going to stop players from being knocked off the edge from Landslides or cleaving the party with Divebombs.

Expanding on what Galactimus said above. I hope everyone realizes that pre-2.2 content for endgamers in getting "nerfed" anyways because once you get ilvl100+ gear Titan, Garuda, Ifrit and Coils 1-5 are just going to be rollface for the people who already complete those on a regular basis. You'd have to get your entire party to downgrade to Darklight and rerun Coils 1-5 (for example) to get the experience you all want, and I'm pretty sure none of the complainers are doing that now anyways. <.<
