He's following the "standard" MMORPG model (that only 1 mainstream MMO actually utilizes and 1 other MMO no one really cares about) which is to nerf content after every update and make your previous accomplishment meaningless. Get used to it. Even the Gilgamesh battle will have no challenge to it because he wants everyone to "enjoy it" since keeping things challenging creates a gap in the playerbase and people will be "stressed."

Of course you'll have the people who encourage and appreciate this say "there's no problem and this isn't the game for you" though.

is it? in my opinion they will activate one more stack of the echo buff every 2 weeks. That's how i read it.
So 2weeks after patch go in, wipe 1time after 3min fighting, get echo#1, wipe again and you won't get the second one.
2weeks later: wipe 2times and have 2stacks....

This applies only for coil 1-5.

An accomplishment isn't made meaningless after the fact unless you want to use it as some sort of badge to flaunt in some failed attempt to show superiority over others.

For those of us who do things for our own self-satisfaction, the fact others get to do it more easily later is irrelevant.

What accomplishments? Maybe the 1st time you did AK, you were in gear less than what dropped in it, but I can't think of the last time that I've been there and the group struggled with it. They're nerfing things now that there are higher challenges. Worry about those rather than resting on your laurels.
