they didnt say they would add ilv95 stuff, they just said those are the ilv ranges of items.
C1 weps will still be the only ilv95 items, imo.

It was said the Zodiak weapons would be a continuous quest through the future patches designed to make it so that not everyone would have all the needed things to complete a full Zodiak weapon by the time the final patch quest were added. I would assume that you can only upgrade you relic to Zodiak up to a point (ilvl115 would seem to be expected) at which it would be upgraded further as we get more content.
atm we have no idea what upgraded relic/ Zodiak weapons will look like.
-By the light of the crystal-
Allagan2 shouldn't be higher than the new tome gear unless they remove a lockout. Ain't nobody got the will trying their luck in the RNG lottery for months to come.
Allagan 2 will be higher than the new tome gear. I think the idea was a graduation of getting the new tome gear (Sol Gear) and then getting allagan.
While I can sympathize with your point (especially given mostly insipid coil RNG luck up until now for myself), the idea that dudes who are only running WP every week in even better gear every single week, while WP stays the same or gets easier due to more gear, to obtain the best gear doesn't really warm me up. At all. It was annoying enough with i90 of myth and allagan. Now that we're getting an additional ilvl upgrade for our gears whilst the dungeons themselves just keep on getting easier for our gear levels, I at least like the idea that SE wants to make us do some actual hard content for the gear.
And I'm really ok with it........... but the RNG...................
Mmm...
Garuda->Rings
Titan-> Earrings
Ifrit -> Bracelets
Leviathan->Weapons
I guess Good King Moggle Mog will drop chokers

Is what people were arguing FOR about 4 months ago? I think. I see the future of the game possibly being like Se getting us hooked initially with easy to obtain gear, then mixing that with some long term goals to keep us playing for years. Im fine with that.
Well, since i don't have a FC with enough members to do coil, i have to rely on pugs ("get another FC" is not a vaild argument) i've been doing T1 as monk for 4 months trying to get Allagan trousers of Striking. Most of the times i was the only MNK in the party, so it would be a 100% chance to get it. Never. Saw. One.
4 months laters (this monday) i had to join as PLD to fill the party. Our melee was a monk... do you guess what gear it dropped on T1? Bingo!
is this really just "bad luck"? Are you really ok with this system? RNG is ok, but this kind of "RNG" is ridiculous...
I know i'll get a full ilvl 110 Monk in about 4 months with no Allagan2 gear (kinda sad, it looks awesome). I don't have any hopes about coil drops...

I've been looking at it the same way... i think the initial gear grind is to get us at a level where players will be at an acceptable end game level when they start adding long term goals for players that want to obtain the uniqueness that they desire.
Yup, I agree. The rate at which we get (or rather do not get) healer loot has been alarming throughout the history of our coiling so I am not really holding my breath to be decked in 110, even if I were to assume we'll start clearing t6 and beyond soon into the patch. (Which is of course the goal as we've all beaten t5 and are waiting for this patch). But at least it means my static will get stronger overall, even if it is not me getting the drops. We shall see. ;x
