    Give SCH its own class

    Think it be more simple for devs and players to focus on 1 class = 1 Job.
    (Would change some actions on SMN & SCH around a bit and make new actions)
    Can keep SCH class a pet class. Can make it Calculator or Tempest. As a lv1 Pet for the class... Caitsith? Caitsith being more of a Mini Tank in a way. Once Job is unlocked Fairy becomes more for healing but Caithsith still be useful later on. Acts like a weaker version of Titan Egi.

    Actions

    Action:Field of ______
    Places a Floor AOE that players stand on to gain increased HP cap & healing overtime.
    (3x size of Flaming Arrow)

    Action:Calculate
    Increases effects of healing & damage by you & your pet over period of time.

    Spell: Aspir: Absorbs 50% of damage dealt & restores HP & MP

    Spell: Barrier: Casts Different type of Protect & Shell on players

    Spell: Dia (Remove Bio)

    Spell: Dia II (Remove Bio II)

    Spell: Physick (CAL/SCH mainly, optional to place it cross class action for ARN/SMN)

    Spell: Resurrection (CAL/SCH mainly, optional to place it cross class action for ARN/SMN)

    I think devs cant handle the balance & the need for players wanting more classes rather then Jobs. Players want options to try new weapons and offering more jobs doesn't do that because class is limited to 1 or 2 types of weapons. Limiting it to 1 job saves alot of hassle of creating another job for classes already in the game and creating new jobs to classes that dont really make sense in a FF game.

    When adding a 2nd job that differs from the role it needs to do causes balance issues in the start of the game. Example would be GLA is a tank but if they added new DPS job for GLA they would also have to make GLA a dps role because players dont expect to play a tank if they plan on being a DPS job for that role. So they would add more dps abilities to GLA. This may effect how Duty Finder/Party Finder seeks for a Tank or DPS.

    Players are learning how to play there role with the class but if you switch the roles they will have hard time adjusting to it or dislike the class there playing as.

    Limiting to 1 class= job lets you have the option to add more weapon types and roles into the game without having werid weapon Jobs like Ninja holding a wand.

    Fencer=RDM (Long Sword)
    Musketeer=COR (Gun)
    Necomanncer=DRK or Knight=Dark Knight (Scythe or Greatsword)
    Dancer=Thief (Dagger)
    Herder=BST (Whip or Small Axe)
    Mystic=Blue Mage (Curved Sword)
    Elementalist=Geomancer (Wand,Stave)
    Palver= SAM (Great Katana)
    Assassin= NIN (Small Katana)
    Enchanter=Magus (Wand)
    Hunter=Ranger (Cross bow)

    You do know that the goal is for multiple jobs per class right?
    They are going to do exactly the opposite of what you want.
    Not to mention, the scholar class is fine.

    The only change I wish, is that they would give Summoner and Scholar their own alottment of stat points, rather than having them be shared.

    If that's the case, they should make you level them both separately.

    I think the plan is for jobs to function like skill trees. You pick a class and then you specialize it with a job, you can still do the other things the class offers but not as well as someone who threw everything into their selected job.

    That kinda goes against having everything on 1 character.

    Not really, you can have everything on one character; you just can't be the best at everything on one character.
    Well... I guess you can be the best at everything on one character, just not all at once because you have to buy a book to reset your skill points.

    I personally am fine with that, I guess they could make the book that resets points a little bit cheaper though.
