Yep this is an FF game, we kill rats and squirrels then watch the real action in cut scenes.

Yep, which is all you did since 1980s, that's all they're made of, rats and squirrel extermination and the occasional action oriented cut scene.

Though for the 21+ years I don't recall missing out on action since I knew I wasn't playing an action game o.O
