    Swiftcast sometimes not getting procced

    ISP:
    Doesn't matter!

    Type of Internet Connection:
    Optic Fibre

    Date & Time:
    Sometimes

    Frequency:
Sometimes, pretty tough to reproduce it.

    Character Name:
    Wizzed Atria

    World:
    TonBerry

    Class/Level:
    Lvl 50 SCH

    Party or Solo:
    Party in T5

    Steps:
At rare times, my swiftcast doesn't get activated when I do a swiftcast -> ressurection on my ally. I don't know if it's because I'm doing it too quickly but I can't seem to reproduce the problem that many times, it's only at most critical times that I need it to do what it needs to do, and it fails.

I only have one screenshot to show what I meant, from the screenshot, Swiftcast is up, and my Ressurection is still casting slowly... not making use of the swiftcast!

It's happened to me a few times as well. I just move to interrupt my cast time and cast again and swiftcast works. My best guess is it's probably an animation lock.

Your best bet would be to macro swiftcast + raise with an appropriate /wait time in between so this won't happen.

Sometime after the last patch mine started to be effected.
It wont work at all in Macro with a /wait line . I usually have to wait half to a full GCD for it to register. Yet SC Flare works as normal.

Changing it to an inline wait (the <wait> at the end of the line) seems to make it behave properly, but if it doesn't, you can take out the wait entirely and just press the button twice.

Just to give people a head's up to why this may be happening, but because skill buffs (like Swiftcast) have to be issued from the server, you can actually combo swiftcast and raise TOO fast. The effects of buffs/debuffs don't apply immediately after the skill is used, and there is a slight delay (delay is slower than human capability). To guarantee swiftcast takes effect, wait until you see the buff appear on your buffs/debuffs bar before attempting casting raise. The delay between skill activation and buff is .3-.5 seconds. You can easily hit Raise faster than .5 seconds, thus it would start casting normally and the swiftcast buff would apply to the next spell.
