I’m glad you were able to find the setting to adjust the volume of sound effects from other players.

In the same vein, we’ve been receiving feedback mentioning that <se.#> can often be alarming as there is no specific sound setting to adjust the volume of this feature. As such, the development team will be looking into whether they can address this in some way as quickly as possible.

While you are at it, can you make a way to prevent this....

LOL Seeing that you're a Dragoon and you saying that made my jaw drop. Leviathan, particularly in Gridania, is notorious for DRG to spam their AoE around the boards.

Exactly the same happens on Goblin.

It's not just skill spam though, you get those annoying people who just spam emotes non stop as well, its bearable for a little while but it does make me wonder how unstable you need to be to stand there spamming a laugh emote for 3-4 minutes.

I really don't see the problem with people wanting to spam skills.
Using abilities in cities is nice and part of freedom of the game.
If some player target you with their abilities, for the sole purpose of annoying you, it is harassment and you can contact a GM.

Cities are lively and noisy, how is that new? Just go somewhere else if you can't stand people. The world certainly doesn't lack in Market boards, retainer bells, etc. anymore.

It's like sitting in the middle of the road and complaining about the cars hitting you...

Most of the skills in the cities don't bother me. I always think to myself that they might be trying to take screen caps of their moves and keep messing up the timing. Since I sometimes spam moves trying to do exactly that (although never in towns), I don't hate.

Same here. I'm not exactly good with timing when it comes to screenshots, haha! xD
