To be fair, they're getting rid of philo completely after this. Like, myth tomes will probably be raining from the sky in 2.2 in the same way that philo does now for us.
I don't think a 5:1 ratio is even out of the question. (Although hopefully higher)
So now to get gear one has to buy gil to pay for crafted gear or else suffer endless runs at the mercy of the RNG Gods.
This is so regressive and a throw-back to the last decade.
Good job ESO is going to be only a few days after this crass change.
What do you mean? You'd still get the option to run dungeons, get myth or new tomestones and get i90 or whatever the new ilevel is gear. :/ And you don't have to BUY gil to pay for crafted gear. You know, get out and earn the gil yourself. There are plenty of sources.
Explain please. It has always been that you need to use gil to Purchase Crafted items. There is no change here.
"Myth will take Philosophy's placeThere will be an NPC around to trade Phil for Myth."
i'm so glad i have this 2k philo just wasting space ;_;, i can finish buying the blm set for vanity
I kinda highly doubt this, considering they had the same views about BCoB and dedicated players blew their expectations out of the water. Most people probably won't have even completed the quest by the time 2.25 rolls around
Those who can't put much time into the game shouldn't get the best weapons. You know, the way they describe Zodiak weapons is... It sounds like something terrible.
It sounds like "Dumb and meaningless grind that exclusively takes time but no hardship" and hte only reason most won't have it be 2.25 is simply because most can't put that much time in the game.
I have faith in Yoshida, which is why i'm not very concerned, but those are my fears anyway.
This said, the concept of "hard" in ARR is kinda relative. Even the hardest ARR fight isn't half hard at some COP FIGHTS.
