lol, don't worry about it. It just seemed as though you were against people voicing their negative opinions in the post I quoted. Personally I think people voicing negative opinions can be a good thing at times. In some cases it can actually shift the course of a product (example: Xbox One).

Most likely nothing will come of this discussion, but if enough people were to complain, and SE decided to change their course of action and refrain from offering their future bonuses through microtransactions in order to keep their user base happy, I doubt too many would complain.

Then the dev thought they can just let it be with 2 free retainers until ARR because old XIV end soon anyway. But there was still the option to buy an extra character slot for 3$/month and use the retainer in an empty market ward to sell the items for 1 gil to yourself for item transfer between the characters.

I remember setting up the payment plan for it in the first 30 days. They may have switched it after the free time period but I had 3 retainers on my main. So yes it was an option even for a short time.

Then again many do not know about these upcoming changes since they don't camp the forums.

Also I don't think this case will bring people to come here and vote against it.
But we will see, tomorrow we will know more.
