What if the person using the ability politely said, "I'm using X ability for Y reason and I don't agree with you"? Is the person a troll for wanting to have input into the party's strategy? Or is the person who's demanding the other person do or not do X, and forcing them to adopt their strategy, a troll?

There is no reason to repeatedly use Fluid Aura in party content with randoms. It's a situational skill, and a fairly disruptive one at that, designed to remove heat from you if the tank is busy or too far away. It's not meant to be used as an interrupt, nor is it necessary to do so because tanks and DPS have their own skills for that and are more than capable of interrupting anything important that needs to be interrupted. Moreover, tanking at its core is role centered around positioning and control. A WHM going around Fluid Aura'ing stuff on cooldown yelling "I'm helping!!! xD" is removing control from the tank and is screwing with mob positioning, which can be very frustrating considering how that's basically their entire job and you're just unnecessarily making it more annoying.

Sure, I might not kick you for it. But if you do it unnecessarily two or three times, and I politely ask you to stop (and explain why it's annoying), and then you go and insist how it's necessary and helpful and just keep on doing it... well, I'm not really enjoying playing with you, so I'm going to leave and get an instant re-queue while you sit in the dungeon waiting for a replacement. But I also wouldn't really fault someone else for wanting to kick you at that point.

I've only kicked one online person.

Not long after CT was released, I joined up wearing a swimsuit instead of my pants/legs and planed to switch back once we got to bone dragon. As we are clearing, this one healer starts verbally harassing me, and initiated a vote kick against me. The vote kick failed, and a bunch of people in other groups switched to their swim suits too. The harassment didn't let up so I kept my suit on till behemoth. Even after I had switched back to my regular gear, the healer was still going, and I got another vote kick against me which failed again. After that one, I put up a vote kick against that healer, and they were gone.

Questing is like participating in an Old Spice Commercial - Talk to me, talk to him, talk to me, talk to him, Now Talk To Me...Sadly, you are not done, back to him, look there, its that mob I never liked, back to me, back to him...I'm in the Waking Sands.

Never kicked anyone in any game, nor plan to do. I judge only the group as a whole (including myself). If the run is a sure fail or otherwise unsufferable, I leave. If it is not, I stay and we get the job done.

I was kicked from a party once after I twice refused to drop someone who didn't know the fight.
The funny thing is, I think the guy I was protecting, voted to drop me. lol

I have asked for an abandon when a CT alliance has no idea what to do and won't listen to the game plan, but never initiated a ballot to kick an individual.
I suppose if I dislike a party I am in that much, I will drop. I've done that a couple times.
This is a dumb game I play casually for fun.
    I never take FFXIV seriously.
I won't ever do something that will lessen someone else's experience.
