WHM and BLM Spell Speed cap?

I currently have 495 spell speed, need to know how much more I can slot in with materia before it becomes useless. Thanks!

I don't think there is limit in the actual stat (any of them) but there indeed is a limit how much of each stat could be added to particular gear item.

There are soft-limits and caps, yes.

But as you're limited by your gear (pretty much) that you won't ever reach this cap.
It's less about capping, it's more about finding the most appropriate amount for your needs;

I don't think there is one. It wouldn't make sense since whm have presence of mind which doubles spell speed. My spell speed is 509, so IF there's a cap, it's higher than 1018, but I highly doubt there is one.
