[DEVS] Equal Chance at T3 Chest After DC

So I've been trying to earn/trade for a Buccaneer's Shirt for about 3 months with zero luck. I've used so many faction credits but still nothing. So the other day I finally earned another 400 credits to do the faction buffalo when I was disconnected with the buffalo's health being nearly gone (took my party about 1 minute to finish the rest of the leve).

Fortunately, I was able to retry the leve! I was super happy, but still bummed since I was told the chest earlier was gold. This time around the chest was bronze, I got only 5 ice crystals.

Anyway, so I'm really grateful that I'm able to try again, but why can't it be a complete copy of the previous one? Why can't my chest be gold this time too? I mean, the leve doesn't end until the chest appears, so making the leve identical with the chance would keep people from failing before it appears anyway. Things like this make me depressed when there're limited end-game things to do.

i've had bad luck with the tier 3 leves also, but i know if i hang in there my time will come and i am sure yours will also. good luck on your future tries.

So if I want a Buccaneer's Shirt, do I need a full party to get it after I spend my faction points? Can't solo to good gear it seems.. We NEED more people in this game!!!!

You can solo all faction NM with a THM50

They can tank like a glad, heal like the ultimate whm, and dot up everything ala rdm style (which causes a lot of damage), add in insane mp regeneration abilities and you have one insanely hard to kill THM.

It can't be a "complete copy" because it's not a copy at all. You're running it a 2nd time. The outcome isn't based on -- or even related to -- what happened the first time. The game doesn't remember what happened to you last time. It doesn't decide what type of chest you're going to get until after you've killed the mob.

When you run it a 2nd time, it's a completely different attempt, with exactly the same chances of getting the same result. So you do have an "equal chance" at a T3 chest.

It's a bummer anytime you DC while doing anything in this game. But it's an internet game. DCs are going to happen. They're not necessarily -- or even usually -- SE's fault. We can be pretty confident that this DC was not SE's fault, because you were apparently the only one from your party who DCed. If you're going to play a game over the internet, it's something that you're going to have to deal with occasionally. Fortunately, it's just a game.

Be patient. I'm sure you'll get your Bucc's gear eventually. Good luck!
